LaughterCS More superb work from Steve Flato, who seems to kill it no matter what style or idea he tackles. This one hypnotizes with lighter sounds before diving as deep and dark as the title promises. Big drones, big melancholy, big waves of heavy sound. Will be enjoying this for a long time to come. Favorite track: Reverse (Again).

about

Fragments of MIDI guitar-triggered rainstorms; the sound of a mechanical wheel spinning on a guitar string. A curious look at the line between guitar and its total abstraction.

Recorded late 2020, Live & improvised solo MIDI guitar. Track #6 recorded 2017.

Cover by Alison Scarpula.
