about

My next entry in the Microtonal Guitar series is a 20-minute improvisation from December 29, 2022. It's a simple modular synth patch accompanied by a guitar with the Gizmotron mechanical sustaining device installed. The tuning used is Rod Poole's 17-tone just intonation tuning.

The only guitar pedal used is Electro-Harmonix HOG2. Modules used: Ar Merc'het Brao Dual Overdrive Filter, Miso Modular Cornflakes, Strymon Magneto, Intellijel Quadrax.

There is a video of the full performance here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhEQBHO--B0&t=1s
